A Letter regarding importance of CHP to All Canadians
Saturday, April 19, 2008, 02:52 PM - Morality

I believe that all Christians should be supporting their Christian worldview by supporting the only federal political party which supports the Judeo Christian foundation which our country was founded upon. This heritage made our country one of the freest countries in the world.

I'd like to take a moment to show you the importance of you supporting the CHP again.

Canadians have many opportunities to vote for political parties which will support the killing of 110,000 preborn children in Canada annually. There is one baby aborted in Canada for every four children which are born alive. The Liberal & New Democrat Parties are staunchly in favour of abortion on demand. The Conservative Party has declined to allow the issue of abortion to be spoken on by their candidates. They have also declined to allow abortion to be brought before their Conservative Party convention. They do not wish to touch this issue because it may cost them their roles in the Canadian Parliament. There is no point voting for a Political Party which will not take a stand or moral issues. Humans were created in the image of God. It is not within our human mandate to take the life of an innocent person. Pro life Canadians have only one political party which is committed to ending this slaughter of our children. That party is the Christian Heritage Party.

Canadians have many opportunities to vote for political parties which endorse same sex 'marriage'. The Liberal and New Democrat Parties are both staunchly in favour of same sex 'marriage'. The Conservative Party paid 'lip service' to their election promise to revisit the same sex 'marriage' issue by asking Parliament to vote on whether they wanted to readdress the same sex 'marriage' issue. There's a vast difference between putting something on the table and asking if MP's want it put on the table. Marriage was instituted and clearly defined by God to be between one man and one woman. It is not within our human mandate to change that definition. There is only one party which supports the traditional, God given, definition of marriage. That party is the CHP.

These are just two of the issues where Christian Canadians must vote according to their beliefs. Otherwise they are voting against Christian precepts. We have been made stewards of one vote with which to glorify God. We must use it to vote according to His precepts.

In Canada, those who publicly state Christian viewpoints on morality are in danger of facing charges by both Federal and Provincial Human Rights Commissions. Prime examples of these are:

- Dr. Chris Kempling, a clinical psychologist employed as a teacher in British Columbia. He has been charged for writing a letter to the editor during the same sex 'marriage' debate in Canada. He has been charged for offering counselling within his clinical practice for people struggling with their sexual identity. He has been charged for running as a candidate for the CHP and stating the policy of the CHP on marriage. These charges violate Dr. Kempling's rights to freedom of speech, freedom of opinion, freedom of political affiliation, and freedom of religion, all of which are guaranteed in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

- Ron Gray, Leader of the CHP, the CHP, and the CHP Skeena Bulkley Valley Electoral District Association, have all been charged for posting information from an online news site regarding homosexuality. The material posted were reports according to the Stanford Law Review and were factual medical information. Thee charges, placed by the Canadian Human Rights Commission, violate Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms Section 3 which is our right of political involvement. If these cases are lost then political freedom in Canada has been lost. These charges also violate Section 2 freedom of religion, conscience, thought, speech and expression.

Some past Human Rights Commission cases include:

- Hugh Owens who was charged for placing an ad in the newspaper with Scripture verse references to homosexuality. The judge, in her ruling, said that the Bible, on the issue of homosexuality, borders on hate literature.

- Scott Brockie who was charged for declining to print pro gay material at his own print shop.

Further ongoing Human Rights cases:

- Ezra Levant & Western Standard Magazine have been charged for printing the "Danish Cartoons". These charges violate Ezra Levant and the Western Standard's right to Freedom of the Press.

- Mark Steyn & Macleans Magazine have been charged for excerpts printed from a book which Mark Steyn had written. These charge violate Mark Steyn & Macleans Magazine's rights of Freedom of the Press & Freedom of Opinion.

Human Rights Commissions decide not on fact or law but according to the feelings of the complainant. The HRC are not required to gather evidence, the only evidence necessary was whether a person's feelings were hurt. The CHRC website assures us that "truth is not a defence". That is a scarey thought!

As you can see there are many threats in Canada to our freedoms. These threats must be fought! The only political party with a will to take up the battle on behalf of all Canadians is the Christian Heritage Party. There is no better time to support the CHP than today.

It is time for all of us to come together and make a stand for the Judeo Christian heritage on which Canada was founded. If we will not defend our freedoms then we will lose them.

You may find more of our policies at our website at www.chp.ca . We have a political position on many things as you will be aware.

Bill C-22 Age of Consent
Monday, July 2, 2007, 02:18 PM - Morality
Dear friend,

As you might know, earlier this spring the House of Commons passed Bill C-22
which raises the age at which a boy or girl can consent to s-x with an adult
from 14 to 16 years. Since then this important bill has been languishing in
the Senate instead of receiving the fast-track passage it deserves. Now
Senators have decided to commence a three month holiday without passing the
bill, thereby endangering the safety and dignity of the young men and women
as predators continue to exploit these adolescents without fear of legal
consequences.

In response to this we have created an petition asking Senators to either
return to Ottawa and convene a special session of the Senate to pass this
important piece of legislation, or alternatively, to make the passage of
C-22 their top priority upon returning to Ottawa in September for the Fall
Parliamentary session.

This is a non-partisan issue that all Canadians can agree on. Please take a
moment to tell our Senators how important it is to you that they protect our
children by passing C-22 as early as possible by clicking on the URL below
and adding your signature to this petition.

You can also download and print a copy of this petition and have your
friends and neighbours sign it. To download a copy of the petition now go

Finally, in order to obtain the largest number signatures possible, please
forward this email as widely, and post to as many forums and blogs as
possible.

Beware of Gardasil
Tuesday, June 12, 2007, 05:42 PM - Morality
On April 30th, our leader, Ron Gray, released this information.

“The federal government has allocated $300 million in its 2007 budget for a proposal to vaccinate our daughters and granddaughters against a disease that can cause cervical cancer. The plan targets adolescent and pre-adolescent girls for a vaccine called Gardasil.
Gardasil is a recently-developed vaccine for human papilloma virus (HPV), a viral infection that has become a virtual epidemic because of sexual promiscuity.”

source

World News Daily reported 2 weeks ago that adverse reactions to Gardasil include “spontaneous abortion and paralysis.”

source

Judicial Watch gained, under the Freedom of Information legislation access to 1637 reports of adverse reactions to Gardasil

reports

Is this an acceptable risk to which we should expose our children? It’s time our governments began telling us the truth about the risks of sexual immorality. Rather than trying to treat the symptoms of the problem, let’s treat the problem.

The only way to avoid STD’s is to practice abstinence outside of marriage: not experimental inoculations; not using condoms; abstinence works!

Dismembering the Family
Monday, November 20, 2006, 01:05 PM - Morality
I have spent some time considering where we have come as a society in my lifetime, the perception of who Christians are, and the role of family in society.

This country was built on a tradition... a heritage... that allowed for individual freedom within parameters that prevented us from transgressing against our fellow Canadians.

Canadians have allowed values to be removed from both the public and private arenas. This was done in part by allowing the media and social activists to twist truth to meet their own agenda.

The media and social activists have taken it upon themselves to define who Christians are. Once successful in re-defining the beliefs of our founding fathers as narrow and bigoted, they helped us to see that we should be ashamed of the traditions that built this country. The traditions that allowed individual development within parameters that protected society.

From there they turned their attack on the family.

We, Canadians, under the tutelage of the media and social activists have left this nation floundering under waves of relative thought with no basis in logic. We are trying so hard to be inclusive that we have left behind common-sense. One of the most obvious areas has been in the dismantling of our families.

Families, once considered the bedrock of a society, have been under attack for many years.

In my lifetime, I’ve seen the change from strong families, supporting one another and helping each other grow, to disconnected families which are reaching the point of being out of place in today’s world.

Of course that is not to say that families were perfect before. I do believe that they provided a healthier and safer environment in which to raise our children. The security for a child of knowing that mom and dad will ‘always’ be together and that ‘my’ family will always be there for ‘me’, is invaluable.

With the arrival of no-fault divorce we saw the gradual redefinition of family. We saw the arrival of ½ families, step families, we await the verdict on whether legally there can be two mothers and one father in a family, which is one step from polygamy.

We have re-defined family to the point that it means almost everything and therefore it means almost nothing.

Marriage was not a contract between two people. It was a vow made to each other, in the presence of witnesses, made before God. A vow is a promise. A part of that promise is ... until death parts us.

It has been expedient to forget that the marriage ceremony involved a lot of promises made to each other. All of them for the development of a healthy home and family.

For the sake of future generations, we must introduce our children to stable family units. The baby-boomers are the last generation to recall how it felt to grow up secure in their family. Let’s not wait until there’s no-one left to remember what family should be.

Perhaps it’s time to revisit the issue of moral character. When we make a promise, the promise is morally binding. It brings us to the heart of trust. If we cannot trust each other to keep a promise to someone we have loved, how can we be expected to keep promises made before the electorate.

Moral character should be demonstrated before someone is allowed to represent us and make decisions that affect every citizen of this country.

2. FAMILY STABILITY
We believe that the prevention of hardship (rather than its alleviation after it has arisen) is the key to reducing welfarism, and that the stability of the family is basic in this regard. We believe that government assistance should be given to humanitarian and church-based programs which minister to the hurting, strive for reconciliation in marriage through counseling, support those involved in crisis pregnancies, and seek to help an individual overcome those factors (physical and spiritual) which inhibit self-reliance. We favor assistance for the deserving poor through programs which encourage individuals to be self-reliant.
